The Indiana Guitar Show proved “Every Guitar Has A Story.”

My favorite story came from a nice older lady with a 1955 Martin. It even had the original strap from 1955.

Her sister inherited the guitar from her aunt. The three sister formed a gospel group and the guitar enjoyed many musical moments.

Time does what it always does. The other two sisters passed away and the storyteller was left with the guitar that accompanied the family group but she never played.

She heard about our show “Every Guitar Has A Story” being at the Indiana Guitar Show. She had been wanting to sell the guitar and give the money to her son. Now, finally, she recorded the history and sold the guitar at the show for about $15,000.

I like a story that ends with everyone being happy.
