This 1952 Gibson CF-100e will be there. It is the original acoustic electric.
It was the first Gibson flat top acoustic model to feature a cutaway, and built-in pickup.
For guitar geeks, it is all solid woods with scalloped X-bracing which makes it different from Gibson’s later laminate-construction electro-acoustic model, J-160E.
That one is ladder-braced. This is your chance to see a very rare instrument in person.
The Gibson CF-100e was produced between 1951 and 1959. Only 1257 were shipped for the entire production run.
